FROM OWNER's DESK On the eve of Inaugural Function of “BANIAM AUDIO STUDIO” , I depict a few lines which contain my frank confession and immense gratitude. I am Saikat Ghosal, grand son of late Nilmoni Bhattacharya who was resident of Howrah Chakrabaria and my grand pa & his wellwisher friends established a renowned Institution “ Rabindra Vidyamandir”. Till today with the help of those people the residents of the locality feel nostalgic about the spell of Music taught earlier in this Institution . My Grand Pa was Connoisseur of music and he actually worshipped Goddess of Music . Unfortunately he is no more but his Institution has become more and more prosperous with the passage of time. Now academic study, music, dance and even Computer are included in the streams of this school . It is a matter of pride for me that my mother was student of the same where she learnt music, dance etc. What is more, all our relatives of Maternal and Paternal side are traditionally lover of arts. My Grand Pa’s aim was to enhance learning music and recording of same , but his dream could not see the light of the day before his death . I am grown up now, so in order to fulfill his desire. I am going to launch this music studio in 2011 which will be dedicated to those respected guardians of myself namely late Badal Chandra Ghosal , late Nilmoni Bhattacharya , late Annapurna Ghosal & late Mira Bhattacharya.
